Looking at the diary…

Book the hall

The hall this week

Four rooms, six days, and the hours nobody has yet.

This is the caretaker's diary, published. Pick a day: the solid blocks are taken, the hatched ones are free at the rate shown, and clicking a free block starts the booking with the room, the day and the hours already in it.

What it costs

Per hour, two hours least.

Rates are per hour. A group that serves people in this parish for nothing pays nothing; ask.

Main hall 120 seated, 200 standing $2,400 an hour
Upper room 30 around a table $1,200 an hour
Kitchen commercial, four burners $900 an hour
Yard court full netball court $800 an hour
Deposit Returned after we have looked at the room, usually inside three days $5,000

What the rate includes

Tables and chairs set out how you asked, the kitchen if you booked it, the toilets cleaned before and after, and someone on site with a key for the whole of your booking. Bring your own decorations and take them with you.

What we say no to

Nothing that ends after eleven, nothing amplified in the yard after eight because of the houses behind, and no cash bar. A wedding reception, a repast, a birthday, a meeting, a class, a rehearsal: yes, and we have had all of them this year.

Groups that pay nothing

The AA meeting, the clinic, the homework club and the food bank have never been charged and never will be. If what you do serves people in this parish and takes no money from them, say so when you ask and we will do the same for you.

Everything in the diary

Twenty-two standing bookings.

A standing booking holds the same hours every week in term time. It is why a Wednesday afternoon looks full and a Thursday evening does not.
